Kings Place in London, increasingly making a reputation for itself as a place for jazz as well as classical music, hosts a series of concerts, Jazz Scene Europe, next month focusing on some of the leading figures in European jazz today.

It kicks off on 17 March with John Surman plus Chris Laurence and the Trans4mation String Quartet followed the next day with Gianluigi Trovesi + Gianna Coscea, a rare appearance by the Italian duo. 

ECM artist clarinettist Louis Sclavis follows on 19 March appearing with his quintet and the series is rounded off on Saturday 20 March with Andy Sheppard plus Rita Marcotulli and Seb Rochford.
