Edition #8 of the Jazzwise podcast to accompany the June 2013 edition of the award winning glossy magazine. Hosted by Jazzwise editor Jon Newey and renowned radio presenter Chris Philips with music and discussion surrounding the magazine features and interviews, reviews and one or two personal selections.

This month there's great new music from the British Kairos 4Tet, British saxophonist Simon Spillett in the spirit of Tubby Hayes, US saxophonist Joshua Redman's first ballads album, drummer Jaimeo Brown's new piece of music anthropology, Iceland's Samúel Jón Samúelsson Big Band and classic music from Freddie Hubbard and Ornette Coleman.

Always informative and fun, this is a programme concieved from the excellent Jazzwise magazine and presented with enthusiasm and passion for this great music.
