Courtney Pine Live plus Jazzwise 10th Birthday HighlightsThe man the legend, Courtney Pine, lived up to his status as one the UK biggest and brightest jazz stars as he delivered an incendiary 2-hour set for the Jazzwise To The Power of Ten Festival. See more video highlights of the week including Finn Peters, [em], Polar Bear, Dave Okumu, Nucleus Revisited and Nu Troop...

Courtney was kind enough to let us film one song from his set – a blistering version of The 37th Chamber – which he uses to mix the blues with Asian sounds, resulting in a fiery fusion of drum and bass and jazz!

It was an amazing week at the Dean Street Pizza Express Jazz Club with stunning performances from Finn Peters, Stan Tracey, [em], Polar Bear, Empirical, Courtney Pine, Ian Shaw and Claire Martin, amazing gigs from Dave Okumu Trio and Nucleus Revisited and a spectacular closing night from Gary Crosby's Nu Troop. See some of the highlights of the week in this video compilation, there will be more full length clips coming soon...

It all kicked off with a party for all of Jazzwise friends across the arts and music worlds, with speeches from Jazzwise MD Charles Alexander and editor/publisher Jon Newey. Thanks to all who came along on what was a special day.
